Welcome to eu-safe.eu (the “Website“). These Terms of Use outline the general rules for using the services provided on our Website, such as our contact form. Before using the Website, please take a moment to review these Terms of Use. They are available for free download in PDF format at LINK.

By using any services or features on the Website, every user agrees to follow these rules. If you don’t agree to these – please refrain from using our website.

Definitions

User – you – the person using the Website and Services in any way

Website – eu-safe.eu/ domain and its subdomains

Services – the electronic services provided by FundingBox to users through the Website

Materials – texts, photos, graphics, charts, videos, multimedia content, and more, especially those considered works under copyright law.

The ownership of the Website may be transferred at any time to another legal entity forming FundingBox capital group, at the sole discretion of the Website owner.

Project 

This Website was created in relation to the DeepSAFE Project, grant agreement No. 101193512.

Services

The user may use the Website, including viewing the content, under the terms set out in these Terms of Use. The user is prohibited from providing illegal content, which will be discussed in detail below. 

The Service consists of:

• browsing and searching content,
• enabling subscription to the newsletter,
• sending inquiries (or other messages) via the contact form,
• access to materials and services prepared by FundingBox or its partners, tailored to the user’s interests,
• links to other websites (related to social media or other relevant content).

FundingBox has the right to display advertisements for its own services and products, as well as those of its partners, on the Website. These advertisements are an integral part of the Website and its content.

We reserve the right to restrict access to some or all content on the Website for certain users if they use hardware or software that affects how content is displayed, especially if it blocks or disables certain content.

Using the services

To use the Service, the user needs access to the Internet.

When using the Services, the user is not obliged to any provision other than providing personal data, and these data will be processed solely to provide the Services.

External links

The Website contains links leading to sites external to the Website. Some of them are not managed by FundingBox.

Before you start using the services of these third-party platforms, please read their terms of use.

FundingBox is not a party to the agreements between users and third parties for these services therefore FundingBox is not responsible for the content and services provided by websites managed by third parties.

How to use the Website

When using the Website, you must not:

• provide false personal data
• distribute prohibited advertising content
• provide illegal, false content that infringes the legally protected personal rights of third parties, copyright and related rights, or using the Website for such purposes;
• copy, modify, distribute, transmit or otherwise use any elements of the Website and databases made available on the Website, except for using them as part of permitted use;
• taking any action that may hinder or disrupt the functioning of the Website.

Complaint procedure and out-of-court methods of resolving disputes 

FundingBox is committed to addressing any issues related to the non-performance or improper performance of our Services. If you encounter issues with our services, please submit complaints to the address in the General Information section. 

We will respond within 14 days. For consumers, if we do not respond within this timeframe, your complaint will be considered accepted. 

To ensure a swift resolution, please include a detailed description of the issue and your identification information when submitting your complaint. However, for consumers, we will still review your complaint even if some details are missing.

These complaint procedures do not affect your right to pursue legal action or use alternative dispute resolution methods in accordance with applicable law.

Technical Breakes

We may have temporary service interruptions for technical updates, not exceeding 72 hours each. We aim to schedule these breaks at night to minimize disruption.

Technical conditions

In order to fully enjoy the functionalities of the Website, user should satisfy the following minimum technical conditions:

• a device with the Internet access which enables displaying the Website,
• an installed and updated Internet browser: Microsoft Edge, Opera 22.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 52.4 or higher, Apple Safari 10.2 or higher and Google Chrome 34.0 or higher,
• enabled JavaScript and Cookies support.

Intellectual property rights

Intellectual property rights protect all materials published on the Website. Providing materials on the Website does not constitute a transfer of copyright or granting a license to use the materials by the user. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Website without written permission from the FundingBox.

Changes to the Terms of Use and final provisions

We may update these Terms of Use for legal, security, or operational reasons such as:

• the change is necessary due to a change in the provisions of generally applicable law that have a direct impact on the content of the Terms of Use,
• changes resulting from security reasons, including those aimed at preventing the use of the service in a manner inconsistent with the provisions of law,
• introducing significant changes in the functioning of the Website, including those related to technical or technological progress, including changes in the systems,
• increasing the transparency of the provisions of the Terms of Use.

Changes will be announced 14 days in advance.

In matters not regulated in the Terms of Use, the relevant provisions of Polish law shall apply.

No provision set above may be understood as excluding or limiting the rights of consumers.
